Identity & Intimate Relationships research study conducted by our team at Brigham Young University.
Information We Collect: When you complete the study sign-up form or survey, we may collect basic contact information such as your name, phone number, and email address.
How We Use Your Information: Contact information is used only to communicate about this specific research study—for example, to send reminders, confirm participation, or clarify questions. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. Your phone number will not be shared, sold, or used for marketing purposes. We do not share your information with third parties except for services used to deliver messages or host survey responses (such as Google Forms or Qualtrics), which comply with standard data protection practices.
Text Message Communication: By checking the consent box when signing up, you agree to receive text messages related to this research project. Message frequency will be minimal, and you may reply “STOP” at any time to stop receiving messages.
Data Security: All collected data are stored in a secure, password-protected environment accessible only to the research team. Personal identifiers will be removed when data are analyzed. De-identified data may be stored indefinitely for future research purposes.
Your Rights: Participation is voluntary. You may request that your contact information be deleted at any time by emailing iir.researchteam@gmail.com.
